User Interface Design

Onboarding

Registration on the platform follows a familiar procedure akin to other investment apps. The key differentiation lies in the investment profiling stage, where users input details regarding their investing experience and knowledge.

This information shapes their investment profile, enabling the system to offer tailored investment strategies as needed. To encourage exploration and mitigate initial apprehension, new users are welcomed with a complimentary voucher, allowing them to experiment with transactions risk-free.

Personalized Investing Experience

Aligning with each user's investment profile, the market page intelligently suggests stocks that suit their risk appetite. Novice investors are guided towards ETFs or low-risk stocks, while seasoned traders receive recommendations for stocks with a higher risk-reward ratio.

Additionally, descriptive tags on the stock page provide insights into market perceptions of each stock. Users also have the flexibility to strategize their investments, either by scheduling trades for a future date or setting alerts for specific stock price points.

Simplified Way of Trading

Initiating trades on the platform is streamlined for user convenience; a simple tap on 'buy' or 'sell' from the home screen begins the process.

By default, the trading interface is minimalist, requiring only the stock selection and the amount in pesos to execute a trade. This approach is designed to simplify the experience for most users.

For advanced traders seeking more control, an option in the top right menu allows switching to a more detailed trading mode, unlocking additional trading parameters and features

Learning and Community

The Learning tab offers a range of educational content on stock market investing, suitable for various skill levels, featuring articles and video tutorials.

In parallel, the Community tab provides a platform for user interaction, enabling investors to exchange opinions and insights, fostering a collaborative environment for knowledge sharing.

User Testing

The figma prototype was tested in 5 participants with diverse persona from no experience to seasoned investors. The testing was conducted remotely where the tasks were given to participants and interview was conducted after the testing to know what they think of the product.
